The Challenge

Soundzipper was engaged to provide acoustic consultation for the renovation of government offices in Bukit Merah, Singapore. The objective of the design is to provide sound isolation to achieve a comfortable office environment.

The Design

Speech privacy is essential in the meeting rooms, conference rooms and phone booths in the offices. For sound isolation, acoustically rated full height walls (STC 40 – 50) prevent sound from being transmitted between rooms. The doors for these rooms are acoustically rated as well.
